I am so new at this! Our chicks are 3 wks old and doing well. My question is what are they supposed to look like? They are feathering out nicely but some are very bare on their backs (blk rocks) . I am thinking this is normal so the new feathers can come in. They are very awkward looking (teenager stage?). Just want to make sure this is normal. Some RIR look like they have a bare strip down their back. When I figure out how to get pics on I will do so. Does this sound normal?
