My chickens bullied my young rouen and he got separated from his flock. When he found them, he was stuck between his pen and the chicken yard fences. He tried to push himself through the chainlink fence to get back to his flock. He was all bloody, and it was late at night when I found him, so I couldn't really assess his injuries. We left him in the pen with his flock because we thought separation would just add to his stress.

I just KNEW that I would have a dead duck this morning.

Today, his wings are completely featherless. He looks so funny! He seems alert and healthy otherwise. He had fun playing in the garden hose "shower" this morning.
Do I need to put something on his wings? I have vaseline and Utter balm.

    Will his wings refeather?

They may not refeather until it is his normal time to molt, but I expect the feathers will regrow.
