Feathers are coming out of two of my young hens

This is for a friend I don't know a lot but have to try sending pics.

It’s either feather picking by the rest of the flock, or possibly mites. If the chickens are in crowded conditions, they will peck at each other. If mites, your friend should check at night with a flashlight (mites come out at night). It doesn’t look like rooster damage from mating to me, but that’s also a possibility.
