Feathers coming in, now I can tell some apart!

The feathers are coming in nicely on my 2 week old golden comets. One is darker than the other two and I can actually tell her apart from them. She's a beautiful reddish gold so far. So, she's the first to get a name .... Lucy.

I'll have to wait for something different to come out on the five other chicks though. I still can't tell them apart. Especially the Leghorns. They all look exactly the same.
 
I have all Buff Orpingtons. We knew that they were going to be family pets, and I came up with a great method for identifying who was who....colored zip ties! As they grew, I'd use a small pair of wire snips to change them when needed. We named ours when they were newborn and today, they are all grown up and each one knows their individual name! The zip ties work great!
