I'm gonna crazy!! At what age will my KC and Blue Sweds get their adult feathers? They are 9 weeks old. I really want to be sure of their sex and I can't wait!!!!

Hi, I have a Pekin that got his curl in his tail at 14 weeks. I noticed they feather quickly from about 10 - 14 weeks. Maybe someone has better advice for the breeds you have.

Is that the age they get their adult feathers or just when they get that curly feather and then get their adult feathers later?

Depends on the breed, some mature sooner than others. I honestly can't remember when our Swedes fully feathered, but they were slower than our Indian Runners and Khaki Campbells.

Bungie is a 3 month old rouen and he is still growing in to his big boy feathers. He looks pretty silly right now, but you can definitely tell he is a boy.

I am waiting on my saxonies too! Everyday I am like - is that a neck ring I see?

I really want at least 2 girls, and so far I can only say for certain that I have one male, but ya never know. I guess I will just have to wait for those head fethaers to start coming in...
