My Muscovy drake recently has gotten caruncles down his neck a bit, but as he has been in a molt there are feathers growing back over them. I didn't think this was possible? Is this common?
Just curious about the topic. Always eager to learn something new and fascinating about my birds. He's going to be 2 soon (I think he was hatched sometime in August, actually) and he hasn't had the caruncles on his neck for too long. A couple months. Now they're almost entirely gone, covered by new feathers.
