Feathers indicating gender

Since the curl on his tail isn't a male thing, if he has chicks will they have a little curl on their tails when they grow up?

Edit: Just joking. As both parent birds contribute to the traits of their future offspring to 50% each (respectively including the traits of their ancestors), there is no way to know beforehand.
