Feathers look Awful!

Is this poor thing developing normally? I have 2 other chicks of different breeds, and their feathers are coming in much better. Any idea as to what breed or gender this chick is? It is 4 weeks old.

Looks fine, one of mine were like that too.

At 4 weeks I usually have more feathering on my chicks, but the growth pattern of the feathers looks normal, wings, shoulders, chest and tail. She's fine. As for breed I don't know.

My 3 week old RSLs don't look too pretty at the moment. I'm sure she's fine.

She looks fine to me. I've always said chicks go from cute chicks, to ugly, to cute chickens. I wouldn't worry

Some of mine did that feathering. I called it the ugly stage. Lol
