Feathers mean wings

    And wings mean being able to get up higher in the brooder...like on top of the feeder.

    Shortly after I took this I watched another one on top of the shorter water bottle bobbing up and down and looking at the far edge of the stock tank. After she bobbed several times she tried it...and only missed flying over the edge by an inch!

    Good job. From here on out your chicks will continue to get more active and need more room to run and things to do. Keep them busy, otherwise you start to see pecking behaviors.

    Yeah, I'm about to make them a big "playpen" in my garage because a dozen of them in that stock tank is going to get real crowded real fast.
