Not black. I have a black and this one doesn't look anything like that one in color. This one is blue.

The colour is definitely blue. It looks bearded, but is going through an awkward stage of development. Wings are supposed to look like that

Another question please...
I don't assume this is a splash but being blue and if I had another blue, a cross between those two would produce a
%age of splash offspring?
I know this is a genetics question but instead of moving it to the other forum, I will leave it here as it shouldn't be too hard for people that breed blues.

Blue X Splash = 50% Blue, 50% Splash

More on BBS Genetics:
Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black, 25% Splash
Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black
Blue X Splash = 50% Blue, 50% Splash
Black X Black = 100% Black
Black X Splash = 100% Blue
Splash X Splash = 100% Splash * breeding this way will dilute your splashes, and they will fade more with each subsequent breeding.

It's definitely a blue and it looks great. The self-blues (or lavenders) are a pale purple. A completely different color.
