feathers - what do you do with yours?

i found a solar powered lid and light that fit a reg mason jar, when i find a neat feather i put it in the jar on the poarch, nice way to keep some of the good ones, how about you?

some are really cool looking, esp the spangled ones from the roos, you know people are actually braiding them into their hair? and fishermen use them to tie flies as well, I don't have a market, but I bet there is one

seriously, I wish I'd paid more attention, but rooster feathers are now the rage

I know, people are killing roosters, plucking their long feathers, selling them for kids hair and fishermen. I am upset with my friends because they have them braided in there hair..

I don't care if they just fall off of the roo, but I hate the fact that people kill them, and take the feathers......

I see everyone with feathers braided in their hair.. Makes me mad, because I know for a fact that my friends don't have chickens....

I just wish that there is a way to stop it!

I put it this way: How would you like if chickens killed you, and plucked you hair and braided them into their feathers?

Ok - I know, that was odd.. But it is comletely true!
