Feathers white and fading - something to worry about?

Hi! We have an approx. 5 month old Gold Laced Polish. I just noticed that his tail feathers were beginning to fade to white. Should I be worried? (Picture below is one side of the tail, the other one has more white feathers) Thank you!

I have the same thing going on with a Serama roo I have. I'm not due what's going on either, so I'll join in for the ride.

This is him 2 weeks ago...

I do not think you should worry unless you think he acts like he is sick, though my gold laced polish is 4 months and her feathers are not turning whitish. I will let you know if her feathers start turning whitish, maybe it's a rooster thing

Can we see a full body pic of this bird?

If it is the one you showed really close to the camera it is not a he.

If you are worried about the white at the beginning of the tail there is nothing to worry about. both my roosters have white at the beginning of their tail

I'm not really too worried, just thought it was strange. Both of his parents where primarily white, so I was actually surprised how dark her turned out.
