Ever since the weather has gotten hot (100+ degrees), my BO's feathers have turned strange. They look all frizzy, like they have been singed. None of the other hens look like this. Is it due to the heat? If not, will they have frizzy feathers permanently?

How old are they? Maybe you have frizzled birds? Mine haven't done that. If they are fairly young though, that could be what you are seeing, their true feathers coming in and they are indeed Frizzled.

They are about 15 months old. They had normal feathering until about 1 month ago. I know my hair gets curlier in the summer when it is humid. But this started when it got hot without humidity. Very strange.
