i got so bummed that i couldn't go to the stockton show that i started searching for other shows in california.

hmm I don't know anything about this show but I'm definitely interested! I did go to the Stockton show, it was so much fun! That is where I got my little frizzle baby! it is 3 hour drive to Fresno but I'm thinking it might be worth it!

Hopefully someone here has been and can give us the run down!

Yep, I'm going. I went to Stockton on Sat and it sounded like several of us are going.

I'm glad you posted this, it's on my calender now!
We didn't have the funds for stockton at the time, but the parental units promised me a show, even if I have to drive myself (they'll pay for gas, food, etc), so I might just be seeing y'all there!

Eryn - I haven't been to the Fresno show, but, for me, a 3 hour drive is not too bad, so I would do it. That's how long it took us to get to Stockton (actually a little longer because Lynn got us lost several times!!!!) LOL Besides, it's fun to meet everyone and hang out a little bit!!!

SLO - Hope you can make it!!!

We need to start posting what we want to acquire or have to sell on here so we can make deals with each other before we meet up in Fresno. We did a lot of that with the CA Chickens group for Stockton and a bunch of us came home with birds we'd been wanting, etc. Very fun!!

I went to the Stockton show and was a little disappointed w/ the sale barn. I am not going to go to Fresno as I have previous engagements. I really want to get some Ameraucana's (sp). Want either pullets or hens under age of 2. Is there anyone that is going to this show that might be willing to pick up some for me? I am specifically looking for either white or blues. If your willing to help me out that would be great. I live over in the Bay Area (Morgan Hill/Gilroy area) so if your in my neck of the woods or close that would be great. PM or Email me privately to let me know.

i am going to go, if only to meet some of my fellow BYC members.

and by the way, it looks like my little sultans are going to turn out to be a male/female pair (sigh) obviously i have to rehome the roo but i don't want to separate these two because they follow each other everywhere. where one goes the other must follow. so i would be willing to bring them to the fresno show if anyone wants to have them. i got them from a local feed store so they are probably "pet quality" but they are very adorable. if anyone would truely enjoy having them just let me know! there is no adoption fee - but i will require a hug
