So out of my first had I had none make it then my second hatch I had 1 make it. My third batch is due next weekend. But I felt so bad about my baby all alone I found a local girl who hatches and bought 6 chicks! So I am happy and so is my chick. Just wish they were all from my eggs!

I had to do the same thing w/ Sugar Peeps, she was all alone b/c my hatches were so bad. I got her 4 little friends

You'll know a quiter after a few days when you candle & don't see more developement like eggs set @ the same time.

HELP!! My 1st hatch!! number 3 wanted to beat #1 & 2, but when can or do I need to help her get out? I feel like I should help with that one big piece. I've heard her peep in there, but nothing has been happening for about an hour. Is she just taking a rest or does she need help?

I wouldn't open it. It looks like your chick is zipping. Let her do her work. That's a lot of work for a tiny baby and they do take little rests, and then they'll turn a bit more and continue to zip. Once they zip all the way around the egg, then they'll rest a bit more, and then start to push it apart.

it can take any7were from 12 to 24 hrs for a complete hatch let her be
