I have nothing happening for a couple weeks -other than watching my jan & feb cuties grow

Well, since all three bators are on my side of the bed...I am not kidding...if I pass out I will still be close!!! Ha!!!!!
i have decided I am keeping the first one that hatches, naming it Si no matter if its a boy or girl LOL!! (They start hatching the day duck dynasty comes back on, my FAV show that I will be watching on end during the lockdown days!!

omg y'all will hate me by next Wednesday!!!! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

Should my chicks be active most of the time in the brooder or is it normal to see them sleeping a lot? I see them get up on go to the food and water at times but they run right back to the others and sit back down. they are directly under the light but not realy huddle together.

Like all newborns. Sleeping a LOT is normal. As long as they eat and drink and poop (watch for pastey butt!!) you are fine. Pics pretty please!!!!

OMG I can't wait- 12+++ polish bantam & sultan- some should be pure polish, pure polish frizzle, pure sultan & polish/sultan cross the lady said the ones she's hatched that are the crosses look like 'colored' sultans. I think I am more excited about these than any other I've gotten! Lordy I hope they hatch [/COLOR]

If the air cell is too big then you need to decrease the humidity. If it is to small then you need to increase the humidity.

Uhm.... that opposite everything I've seen.(and learned about humidity in school high humidity = lots of moisture in air and low humidity in air means little in moisture in the air)

If the air cell is too big too much water is evaporating so you INCREASE humidity. If it's too small then you don't have enough evaporating so up need to DECREASE your humidity.
