well enjoy MY chicks!!Oh my that is too funny! Well don't feel bad, I've been outbid on this lady's eggs every time she's put them on since early Dec. I'm sure she'll list more soon. And just think- you'll get a preview of the hatch on here![]()

That's the dillema I have... I do not have another bator!Do you have a separate bator to use as a hatcher? When your BCM eggs go into lockdown you will be raising the humidity and if the other eggs are left in there they may end up drowning because of the excess moisture from the raised humidity.
how long have they been in the batorI'm candling tonight. What do I look for? Veining? A dark spot? If you couldn't tell, this is my first time ever hatching.![]()
YES HELLO ....JOIN!!![]()
If they are shipped thats how it goes wit h them Scrambled from the ride. but if you get a few thats wonderfuil!! What did you start with?
Oh my GOSH!!!!! I love them!!It's awful! I had these shipped to me a while back. They were 5 days out. Nothing, none of them were viable because they took so long. They guy was soo nice, sent more free of charge. He sent 28! So many started! Then, all of a sudden, I was losing them. They just quit. I kept thinking what did I do? The air sacs on them were terrible. A lot of them way up the side. So maybe that? These that are left..a couple of that high air sac.
I just hatched 5 olive egger babies last night and early morning..have to share a picture. Or two..or...
My favorite baby.
All of these have the fuzzy feet, except the one that I like has less feathering on the feet/legs.
I don't care, I just want her to be a her. And, three of them have puffy faces! These eggs
had that watery stuff wriggling around on the bottom of the egg when I first candled..not all
but most all of them. Two of them made it to hatching, and the watery fluid, or what I
call the gobledy goop, wasn't wriggling around when time for lock down. Little worried
that when they pipped, they would drown in thick goop like I've had chicks do before when
I've had that watery look in the bottom. But all 5 in lock down made it. Pretty happy
with that. I kept the humidity down lower than usual the last week of incubating. In the teens
to see if that would help. Must have.![]()
Well it depends on how many days they've been in the bator as to what to look for...I'm candling tonight. What do I look for? Veining? A dark spot? If you couldn't tell, this is my first time ever hatching.![]()
