I have to turn 8 of the eggs in there by hand.... Now I have to lie about it and keep it my dirty secret here, LOL!!!

I think I will relax in a few days....and then be a spaz again around the 25th be warned!!

Maybe next time put the eggs in an egg carton and then just use a book or something under the one side of the bator (tilting one side down) and then a few times a day switch the book to the other side. The eggs will tilt along with the incubator and you won't have to open the bator up to turn.

OMG i would have NEVER have thought to do that!!! bc the next whole bunch (50+) next week would be "hand turned". that is an AWESOME idea!!!!

you think hubby would mind if i disconnected the PS3 to make room for my next incubator set up??? (I am so asking to get beat, lol)

i hate this why cant they hatch in an hour or something and not take so stinking long!!! only 2 have pipped and nothing from the others. i hope its not going to be like the last time i hatched. one we seen hatch and the rest did it while we were sleeping =/

When I did my hatch a couple weeks ago it took hours like 12 and even up to 24 hours from pip to zipping, so try not to get too worried...I know easier said than done, cause my last hatch literally camped out beside the bator waiting, and I caught myself doing the same thing last night.

Don't lose hope becuase out of no where they sometimes surprise you!

Seriously, good 4 you! We all know how nerve wracking it is & you are just doing your best. It's also one of the reasons for a group like this- advise, support, ppl to cry & laugh with AND tie us to trees when needed

I also have a lg stryo that I use for days 1-18. I did however get it @ a good deal right b/4 Christmas on ebay. It was a pkg deal that included the fan kit, turner kit & "bonus" candler. I think it was less than $80 w/ free shipping. They were selling like hot cakes! When you can, it might be worth it to you to add a fan kit to yours.

everyday I log on to try & catch up here & w/out fail at least 70 new postings every day!! Ya killin me here lol O well I'll catch up at some point.

So 1/2 way thru & only one infertile egg(an ee egg), maybe 2, one may be a quail egg -> but it has so many speckles that I can't see in it to tell what's going on in there


I'm very excited, I have a few Japanese Bantam eggs in there (first laid ones, good size for first time) can't wait to see what my little birdies will create together
