Thank you brooks! I will need advise on washing bc they really need it. And by the sewage smell in there I think THAT is what shut all my other eggs down. I need to get the others out of there ASAP.

That is what I am reading! What I read is that it could have something to do with bacteria.

The thing is, is the incubator started smelling "off" about 4-5 days ago, but since the chicks started hatching....oh my God, wow...barf!!

Noooo....that's not normal. After a hatch, the incubator smells a bit sour, but this doesn't sound right.

9 is ROTTEN!!!!!!!! I just had #6 pop out of the shell, and I started grabbing eggs out and using my unopened eggs out and using my new light. 1 is breathing in the shell, and should hatch still. Everything else is gone. Some clearly formed to a far point, all eggs smell normal, except #9, I almost puked when I put it to my nose. This is the ONLY egg that stinks. I now know what happened. Number 9 killed everyone. I am gonna wash them in a bit and dry them and get them in the brooder. I hope the other one I see moving and breathing in the shell hatches still.

Ok so one last thing, incubator 2 smells like what a hot cup of tap water smells...nice and normal.

AND everyone would probably be happy who remembers my temp spike in incubator 3 a few days ago....I almost tossed the whole dozen....

EIGHT of them are fine!!!!! Wow!!! I love this new light!!!!

I just tracked the eggs I got off of eBay and they should be here today. How long do I let them sit before I put them in?
