Waking up this morning was like waking up on Christmas morning! Y'all except look what the incubator fairy brought me!! This is Dennis Rodman. (Or Denise if he's a she) View attachment 3402825View attachment 3402830I do not have any black skin silkies or anything black skinned for that matter other than my fibro olive eggers that are 4 wks old. I only have silkie crosses. But I guess the recessive genes come out when you breed a silkie x to a silkie x. This guy is beautiful!! I also have another silkie chick that hatched but he's solid fibro! Black feathers and skin. This is so exciting and accidental at best. Can't wait to see what this guy look like full grown will be interesting since momma looks like a golden silkie mutt with a bad mullet and daddy looks like a BBR OEGB with 5 toes.

Oh that one is just super pretty!!!

Sitting on my hands staring at eggs all day…..no one is moving which i know is good they are resting for their big day but it was so exciting seeing them all wiggle around yesterday.

My last chick hatched. Looks like a dark brown chick with brown legs. #12 and the last of this group. After the chick drys up, I am going to clean incubator for the next 3 lockdown eggs. When they hatch I get to take a bit of a break till more coming the 20th...

The 3 to the front, the dark green are hopefully frizzle EE, and the middle one EE. I will lock them down tomorrow.

The eggs to the middle row- and back both have different hatch dates later this month.

Same! I’m driving everyone in my house nuts ahaha. The chick sound playlist is already playing for them. Husband is going to looove that when he gets home
