Last night my Orpington hatched and a jersey giant hatched this morning.
3 more to go and all are externally pipped
Day 21 was last night 9:30pm

I have 8 eggs on day 17. 4 looked ready for the move to the hatching incubator. Good slope, and dark. They got moved. the others are going to sit until day 18.

I have a second pip!! The first baby was cheeping at me when I added some water this morning. I hope it joins the world soon!

No actually I didn’t. I know that the 2 Ayam Cemani rooster and the Pavlovskaya’s parents are from Greenfire Farms. I though found Briar Bend Farm. She is awesome and I was really happy with the packing and communication I have been able to have with her. Where I got those breeds from though, I would be willing to get some eggs or even babies from them as well. I got to see where they came from and they care they have.

Foxfire gets hers from GFF also.
Nice for me though, just one state over.

Lost 2 more eggs. Down to 4 Cemani’s and 1 Cochin. These guys seem to be going strong and the rest does not have any cracks. All the ones I tried to repair the cracks on have all died. Hoping the rest of these guys make it.

Not this hatch, but a diff hatch, I had 3 AC, plus other eggs and all my AC hatched pullets.

Today at noon will be day 18. I'm planning on taking my eggs out of the turner and putting them into lockdown when I get home. However, one of the eggs was moving this morning before I left for work. I didn't see any external pips but now I'm worried... I didn't have time to put them into lockdown this morning. Do you think it's just the chick repositioning? I'm hoping it will be ok!
