I would describe Guinea eggs as triangular also. I would also say they are almost duck like in texture, kind of smooth. They certainly have tough shells.

Mine have been breeding, I haven't found any eggs yet.....

Some guineas can start laying now. I had guineas that laid eggs this early in the year. and lord knows with the wacky weather we have been having this winter it is very possible. I didn't mean to say speckles I meant to say like porus speckles hard to describe.
