Oh my! I think they came from me! If they were in little plastic quail cartons then yep they came from me! Sorry for the broken eggs - I usually use other methods to ship but had just received eggs in those trays and they were sitting right there when I packed your eggs. I sent 10 jumbo brown coturnix eggs, 10 white coturinix eggs and 6 silver button quail eggs. I've been having fantastic hatch rates so good luck with them and keep me posted.​

Well my DW just emailed me photos of the eggs

She said they stink REALLY bad

She had to take em out of the house they stunk so bad.

Should I try to incubate any of the ones that made it? I have a bad feeling they are all scrambled.

OMG I"m going to kill my husband! He wrapped and sent those eggs! And he assured me that he did exactly what I told him to.

I will send you new eggs first thing in the morning!!! I am soooooooooooooo sorry! I recognize HIS drawing on the box...that's how I know they're my eggs. He's dead meat when he gets home!

Keith, don't try to incubate ANY of them. Toss the whole bunch of them!

Thanks for sending some more. I figured something happened when I got the photos from my wife. After 1500 posts I would have been surprised if it was actually you that sent them. I got home a little while ago and all but 5 of em were cracked or smashed. I did wash them and might try to incubate them in an old bator I have. Not thinking there is much of a chance after the ride they had in egg goo followed by a washing with water. I figure if they made it this far I might as well try.

On a funny note, the mail lady dropped the eggs off right at 8am. We usually don't get mail until 2pm but I think the smell got to her lol.

Don't be too hard on your hubby - I am sure he was just trying to help.

He was trying to help. I had a stomach bug and he said, "Oh I've watched you do it a thousand times hun. I can do it." UGH!

New eggs will be coming to you tomorrow. Just for the record they were Mottled Cochins and Black Cochins. I can just imagine the smell from them. YUCK!!
