FEBRUARY HATCH-A-LONG come join in

Sounds like everybody is busy. Looking for advice here. Tomorrow is day 18 for me. I am using an LG with a turner and fan. I know I should fill the trays with water, remove the last red plug, and not open the bator at all starting tomorrow. So do I do this first thing in the morning?? And how do I get my humidity up and what level am I shooting for here? I know the temp is 100, and I will take the turner out and place the eggs on the matting, but do I just lay them on their sides? Can you tell I am a nervous wreck!?

Here are some pics from my just completed hatch to tide you over. I ended up with 6 Faverolles and 1 Silkie.

This morning when I left for school I had a pip on one of my LF faverolles in have 10 more I am waiting on hope the little one is out when I get home and I have some more pips.

ljs5451 & quiltnchik: Ok, "Mutts" rule!!!!!! I have a few of my own too! No need for sorry (you're sweet), except from me; sometimes I'm "all about the jokes." We have fun here!

Here's some chicks from my very first hatch of "My own Eggs." 1 is a Bantams Faverolles (with the marker spont on head) & the rest are "mutts" Ameraucans/Faverolles for the green/blue eggs. Happy Hatching everyone!

I just read on your thread you are talking about the wet bulb temps I think around 90 to 95* wet bulb should be about right for hatching.
