LOCKDOWN!!! babies are officially due on valentine's.

I already see one moving, though. I'm excited!

Mine also due to hatch on Valentines day. I saw some rocking. I'm also wearing down lots of batteries to the flashlights shinning it into the bator. I have 7 in lockdown. 3 Freedom ranger/ FBCM and 4 EE/splash marans.

I have a cuckoo marans roo crossed with some of my ladies' eggs: 14 EEs (i'm hoping to get some olive eggers), 4 buff rocks (i like the feather combo), 2 blue andalusians (I dunno what I'll get. Prolly something mean... my blue andalusian is an awful hen), 3 cuckoo marans (for obvious reasons.... nice to have something "pure" in there), and 4 barred rocks (I liked the speckled eggs, so I thought I'd give them a try)
I don't have a pip yet, but one egg is moving around. I'm trying the carton method.
What are you hatching?

Mine are Modern Game Bantams. There are only 4 eggs. The little hens don't lay much, so when I got 6 eggs, I put them in. Two didn't develop. Can't wait to see the little long legged chicks.

I have three eggs wrapping up Day 20 tonight. No pips, but some rocking from one of them earlier. Two pure Delawares and one Del/EE cross. Then a few more go into Day 18 on Monday. Today, I set 7 more eggs, too, but those are due in March, of course.

How do you do that float test again? I have several in the bator still that havent pipped and its day 21 and 22 on some of them? Unless I mis-calculated. I hatched out 5 out of them all for now.

Okay if I join, just put six duck eggs, two BL and 1 RIR egg. Kinda afraid to start again I lost a whole bator when we had that artic cold front and lost electric and water for a

week .
