I am, however, VERY happy to report that one of the brown eggs that has pipped and is zipping was an egg I dropped on the kitchen counter and cracked the day I acquired the eggs! It was a long but simple crack & I sealed it with just a smidgeon of clear nail polish. It apparently worked because the chick fully formed! Let's hope she's a healthy little pullet.

Took out one clear Silkie and all the BLRW for no development/blood rings. One of the Serama is a possible blood ring, but the eye is still twitching around, so I'll leave it in there for now. Another EE is likely a blood ring, but it's so hard to tell with the olive-ish shell that I'll leave it in for a while longer to make sure.

Guess I'll need to try again with the BLRW's. Sad thing is that the only chick that was pre-purchased was a BLRW! Very happy with the Seramas, though!

Day 19...4 in lockdown...1 pip and 3 taking their sweet time. Happy V-Day....I am hoping for all heart day chicks...lol

Update: Three sebright chicks hatched, one EE died during hatch, got pipped and about 50% zipped then just croaked. One brown egg (we have no idea who laid it or who the daddy roo is) has pipped, zipped, and there's a very LOUD little bugger inside!

Still waiting on 1 sebright egg, 1 EE egg, and 4 more mystery eggs to show us what they got. Two of them, however, are chirping, though they have not pipped.

1 egg is dark brown with white specks
2 are light lavenderish
1 egg is biegey-pink.
