FEBRUARY Hatch-A-Long, come join in!!

Mine were "due" to hatch Thursday. We have several pips, no zips, lots of peeping and rocking in many of the eggs, but NO HATCHES!! Our first pip was on Saturday and none have progressed past it. The ones that pipped on Saturday are still talking to me and rocking, but not making any progress. How do hatcheries schedule "day-old" shipments if they never know when the ducklings are gonna get out of the shell? I'm so confused and anxious. I keep talking to them (short pep talks, lol) and checking temp and humidity (99-100 F & 75%-80% respectively), but this is nerve racking. Just set another 24 eggs in the just emptied 'bator, so I'm doing it to myself all over again! I must have self-torment issues

Is this normal? Shouldn't there be some improvement by now? Why are they taking sooooooo long?!?! My snake eggs did the same thing. Something is up with the atmosphere here!

woke up to five babies and seven pips! that leaves 15 eggs to go. I did not candle this time around, so there may be some unfertile stink bombs in there. However, for my last hatch, all of the eggs were fertile, some did just not make it, for whatever reason.

I've had 3 pips since last night! Should be seeing some little "long legs" chicks soon. Pics will be posted!

I think I locked mine down a day to soon do you think it will hurt them? I set on the 25th and counted it as day one and today should be day 21, I think I'm just a dumb counter or maybe as the time gets closer, I get alittle to excited wanting my

silly me. S did I count Wrong?
