We started an incubator full (30 Barred Rock eggs) yesterday. We're new to chickens. In fact, these will be our first assuming they hatch

1 week old and already hamming it up. They grow up so fast!

Little Sparky aka Princess petticoats jumps in my arms every time I open the brooder lol. A few others have started to follow suit!

Thats a lot of barred rocks- Good luck identifying who's who. I wouldn't be able to handle that many of the same breed. But anythings possible, good luck with your hatch!

As of their wings, this is my guess on what ny chicks will mostly look like one day, all have ee in them so all of the following photos of my guesses are easter eggers. Assuming all are hens in this too:

I already have eggs in my incubator, (day 4) which is dumb, because I have a grandaughter due at the end of the month, and will have enough on my agenda. My local stores that sell local eggs had some I have hatched before. They don't always have these eggs so they are in my incubator. I will not stager this time because I did sell an incubator.
