I never can remember how that saying goes, but apparently it's "feed strep throat". I have been eating like a starved dog all weekend. I'm going to need diet pills after this thing.

I think it is feed a cold, starve a fever. Hope you feel better, do you need a crane? Because after all the pigging out I did this weekend I feel like I need one to get off the couch.

LOL
I was thinking of this today!
I think it goes,
Feed a cold, starve a fever?.. or flu or something like that.. I cant remember either.

I think a crane is going to be appropriate after this last several days. I don't remember being so hungry when sick.

When I am sick and feel like eating, I eat. When I am sick and don't feel like eating, I don't. I lost 5 pounds during this last bout with the flu.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, hope you get better soon! I think that instead of trying to remember old sayings about illness you should just listen to YOUR body and respond to its needs. It's good you can eat with strep throat, the last time I had it my throat hurt too bad to swallow anything. Which prolonged the illness because I got so weak from dehydration & lack of nourishment.

Eat if you feel like it, your body needs the strength. That's what I always do. Eat if I feel like it, don't if I don't.
