feed and water; inside the coop, or under it in the run? Chicken Tractor design

do I need both options? are there times it MUST be in one or the other places?

I've been reading this site for months, really appreciate all the guidance here. now asking things I can't quite find.

Keeping feeders inside the coop is always suggested. When feeders are left in the run area it can encourage predators to come for a visit. Another suggestion is removing any left over food from the feeders during the night. Leaving food in the feeders will encourage mice and rats to show up.

Water, we provide water inside the coop as well as the run area. We free range our flocks and they have water available at several locations as well.
