Feed date Question

Hello folks, I have been wondering when these bags of feed were manufactured. There is no date just this lot number. Maybe there is a date in the lot # but I don’t know how to figure it out. I tried to contact Shurgain but they have been bought by Trouw Nutrtion. The mill for these batches is a 2 hourdrive away. The feed seems fresh but the tag gives no info of what is in the feed. The web site is not helpful. Hopefully when the transition is complete I can get in contact with the mill. As far as I can tell the store is just a franchise.
Here is a picture of the tags. The lower number bag is gone now.

Have no clue.
A lot of places use julian days(see below).
You may have to ask your seller....or contact company.

The feed I purchase (Flock Raiser) the date is on the "end tape" not on the label.

Yes, I use FR too and it's on the tape....but other brands are on the tag. some are obvious(like FR) and other are incredibly obscure

Folks although over the years when I was training pointing dogs and raising pigeons and Bob white I really didn't wonder about the age of the feed. Now that I'm older I see the importance of fresh feed.

I've never bought feed that has the mill date on the tag. It's always on the end tape. As for your previous ? on the thread that we hijacked, Aart, this is the brand of feed I use. Manufactured by Kent.

I used to feed Blue Seal to my dogs quite often. It seemed ok. Many times I would purchase it in Calais Maine.
