Does anyone else have a problem with feed dust in their coop? What do you do? I shovel and clean but does not get rid of dust on walls & everywhere in the coop. I am near the point of taking a vac cleaner out there vac the coop. Suggestions? Does your feed do this? Two different brands and both have produced dust.

Thanks,

That ain't "feed dust", rocmoc, that's all dead cells coming from your chickens' feathers and skin.

BTW, practically all of the dust in your house comes from whatever humans and/or pets are in your house, not from outside. Go in a room that's seldom entered and notice that there's no dust in there. So throw your husband and pets out, and you won't have to dust so much.

OK, I took care of it. There was/is a good wind today blowing in thu the South window & chicken door and out the north people door. SO, I got my lawn blower, released the girls & two boys to play, put on a face mask and went inside BLOWING. What a cloud but it is ALL gone now, cleaned it right up.
