Personally I find it vastly more simple to just have one feed without the added calcium for layers and offer the calcium in the form of oyster shells in a separate feeder. That way birds that want more calcium can eat it. Roosters or young don't need it so they will not eat it!!!! Simple....
IMO, Just feed the "grower" to all the birds and give your layers a small feeder full of calcium to meet their extra demands.
