I get my feed from Agway. My Welsh Harlequins were on Game bird starter and grower, but there is no layer feed for ducks (at least from Agway). Can I put them on Hen layer feed? It is not medicated.

    Thanks

Mine are on Purina Duck Grower.... I set out bowls of Oyster shell.... the girls eat it like crazy .The boys stuck their beaks in once or twice but ingore it.. no changing of feeds. No seperating girls/boys to feed... my girls eggs are perfect.. [IMG]

I use a 16% protein layer feed and the ducks free range in the daytime. I am getting a egg a day from them. Shells are strong and the eggs are very tasty![IMG]

18% meat bird grower mixxed with rolled oats 5/1 and oyster shell to the side to minimize drake intake. shells are hard and eggs are perfect.
