So I have been keeping the feeder inside the coop but i noticed that they don't eat much so i put it outside. I am worried that if I keep it outside it will get wet. Can the food be wet? Do you keep one outside and one inside? Help please.

if they're not eating when it's inside I wouldn't worry. As long as they are able to go in and out all day as they please its fine.

Keep the food under cover, if it gets wet it will go hard and mouldy.

I agree, I had a feeder outside for a while. My runs are covered, so I put a piece of leftover plywood on top of the run, weighted it with patio block so it wouldn't blow away, and set my feeder under it. It would have worked ok except the wood was not wide enough and when the rain dripped off the edges it got into the tray of the feeder. Wet feed must be thrown out...I moved my feeder back inside.

Mine eat less in summer, as they get lots of garden waste, and also eat less when they are laying less...as long as yours are not losing weight, they are eating enough.
