In Bozeman, MT we pay $12.89 for 50# layer pellets and $12.49 for 50# scratch. I just bought a bunch today.

I paid 8.00 for 50lbs of cracked corn this summer and thought I was gonna die. Its back down to about 5.00 a bag now with oats at 6.00

I dont' buy chicken feed its to high, I buy soy bean meal and mix in my own protine. I save back "scraps" from butchering, and get bread and left over veggies from the local store when they can't sell it for human food, they box it up for me. Loved the pumkins they didn't sell for halloween..

I don't know how you all do it.. dang.

Bought some medicated chick feed on Tuesday and its cost me $13.50 for 40(?) pounds.

I wish I could get feed for as low as some of you are saying! We average about 15-16 dollars for a 50lb bag.(starter)
