Feed question

I have been feeding these girls laying pellets because I was told they are adult hens. Should I be feeding them something different since they are still young? Neither one has laid any eggs in the 2 and a half weeks I have had them and I don't know if they are even old enough to. Thanks for any help you can give

I think that the left one is a cockerel , the right one don't have to much red on its lobs, I think that the best for now is to give them grower and not layers feed.

I agree with gender assessment. They do look young, but I'd not be overly concerned. Are they clucking now, or are they still peeping? If they are clucking, I'd not be concerned about them eating layer. but, that's me. I tend to not jump on the calcium causing renal failure band wagon.
