Can you start bantam chicks with chick starter/grower? It has 20% portein. The starter has 24%. Can you start ducklings on chick starter? What about when they get older? I have always gave my hens, roos, and guineas layers crumbles. When should they have the poultry grower? What about adult ducks? Can they have layers crumbles?
  2. I don't see why you couldn't use chick starter on bantams, and I had ducks last year and they ate the starter also. My older ducks eat what my chickens eat and they get layer feed with corn. No expert, but treat them like you normally would.
