Blackhead troubles aside ... My Bourbon Reds, RSL and mixed wyndottes are all in the same living space. I have two feeders but they are graze on both feeders. I have a separate dish of crushed oyster and also give milled oats with cayanne. One feeder has layer ration and the other has medicated Broiler Grower 22%. My concern is: that the turkeys are not getting enough protien. Thoughts? the layers are eating medicated broiler. Should we be eating their eggs? I have asked for a high protien mixed flock feed but am told by both suppliers in my town that they've never heard of it.
