Very true. I mostly learned to draw out my plans first. That helped a lot when rebuilding the this.

I lack confidence in most things to do with building or working with my hands. But this turned out alright. If I were to do it again I would have trusted my instincts on two and three and not listened to my husband. I told him we needed to raise the roof for those two and he only did it by a couple inches. I would have done it by a foot or two. In his defense tho he hadn’t built the first one and saw the problems as I had faced them. It’s different having someone explain the problem to you and actually facing it yourself.

Absolutely easier to fix design errors on paper rather than in wood and screws.
