feed storage

I want to find or build a small hopper to hold at least 100 pounds of feed to attach to the back of my mobile coop, probably 3 of these. I keep about 100 layers and want to create a more efficient system by having feed storage at the coop. Any suggestions and pics appreciated!

Me too! I spent all day yesterday looking for a hopper type feed storage container. I found a few that would hold a couple hundred pounds (which would be fine for me) but they are crazy expensive. I think the cheapest one I found was $800. I'm contemplating designing my own and selling them...

They do sell dog food containers that mount to the wall but they only hold about 40lbs. Wouldn't be worth the hassle to me...

Yes, amazing that nothing is easily available. Although metal would be preferable, I imagine it could be done for less cost with a PVC type material. Perhaps one could fabricate it starting with a 35 gallon PVC drum. Can you share the link for the 800$ item?

Well I'm not sure where I found that one, but while I was looking for it to post here, I found another one for cheaper.

270lb capacity for about $300. Better than $800 but still more than I would like to pay...
