I'm not sure what is up with the feed stores around here but today one told me that they don't carry d.e. anymore and most feed stores don't because people were eating it, another told me that all my goats need is a goat pellet and that's all, then I went to get my chick supplies, The bins had litttle brown bugs in them and that's all the feed they had yuck. I went to walmart and got some chick starter. What the heck. Good thing I've been on here and asked a lot of questions. I knew better than to take there advice.

Having had horses for 20 years...I know the feed store owners/workers are NOT nutritionists! Call the feed company if you want advice, but expect them to sell you THEIR product line, naturally. Better yet, call a local goat breeder and gather advice from them as to where they shop and what for...

I've never purchased contaminated feed! NASTY. Move on to the next store, I say...

Feedstore strikes again! Makes me want to open one myself, dang it. Yep, the official Backyard Chickens Feed Store. How 'bout it Rob? And we can sell food grade DE and give good advice.

I asked the biggest feed store around here (bout the size of supercenter) about d.e. yesterday and he said "D what" and then showed me a bag of sevin dust LOL LOL LOL. He said" this is the only powder we got". I told him thanks but naw.
