feed store confusion?

this girl was sold to me as an aracona,
lovely temperment, best of the three, the silver wy is craszy!@
but green tail feathers, muff and cuddle bug attitude, and almost as big as the RIR at 12 weeks,
so what is she ? easter egger?

if she lays eggs she can be from mars......

Most likely it is an Easter Egger, or possibly an Ameraucana. It is not an Araucana as you were told. Araucanas do not have a beard and muff, nor do they usually have a tail.
I sure hope that it lays a nice colored egg for you, but, Im not even sure that it is a pullet. LOL.

ummm...I think it's a roo. Looks like an Easter Egger.

Poison Ivy--your roo reminds me of my first EE roo, Kanga, he was a good boy and smart!

Jkm--at 12 weeks old, it is hard to tell the gender for sure, but there's something about the body shape and angle & shape of the tail that looks roo-ish. It is hard to tell from the photo whether there are pointed hackle & saddle feathers emerging as well.

I am a firstime back yard chciken owner, what feathers?
but he looks like he is starting some nice longer green tails feathers, the girls butts just look differeent,
so if my friend won't add him to her flock he goes back to the feed store as a freebie, nice roo.
he had the sweetest temper!

they were all so cute last night i let them all out in the garden to runaround in the clover , my dogs and cats are in harmony with them now .
