see this is why I didn't go pick up feed today. Hubby said no chick this year, yea like that is going to happen. I know if I walk in there and hear peeping I am walking out with something besides feed. lol

HEHE I went to the local auction today and ending up with 10 barred rock chicks and 3 1/2 dozen hatching eggs. The eggs were a deal $5 for all. There are aurancas (sp), silkie crosses and your basic brown egg variety. I bought some muscovy hatching eggs last weekend so now I have 2 full bators. The duck eggs are doing great too, I candled them so I'm excited.
