My older chicks are ready to switch to grower feed but they are living with younger chicks. Should I wait 2 weeks for the younger ones to be ready before switching? Will it hurt the younger ones systems if I just switch them all now? Or will it stunt or have any other negative effect on my older ones if I wait until they’re all ready? And one more bonus question, when should I stop giving food at night? Sorry I have a lot of questions hahaha 😅

all ages can eat chick crumb, and in my experience all love it! It has higher protein than the grower or layer, and won't harm anyone. It's a bit more expensive, that's all.
I don't give feed at night. But I do let them out to eat shortly after dawn and they're out till dusk.

I feed all my Chicks, Pullets and Hens a Starter Grower 18%, or an All-Flock crumble 20% if it's on sale.

I offer Oyster Shells separately for the Calcium needed by the Layers.

I leave feed 24/7 in coops and brooder.
Coops are rodent proof when I close the pop door after sunset. Brooder is in my enclosed porch. GC
