We keep up with our feed use too Steve. I'll have to wait 'til my wife's not here to add it up though. She knows we use a lot, but I don't think she knows just how much.

I didn't get a card from the feed store, but we are all on a first name basis.
 
Ok, just got done adding our feed up for 2010 and I came out a good bit under you Steve. All the feed together for all the critters on the farm with sweet feed, oats, chick starter, chick grower, laying pellets, scratch grain, mini-pig feed, rabbit feed & dog food it came to... GULP!

...27,280 pounds.

Still adding up the receipts to figure cost.

I'm small time compared to Steve. I only used about 12,000 pounds of poultry feed last year. That's going to increase a fair amount for 2011 though as I'm about to start working on a double-decker brooder as a part of the point-of-lay pullet operation I'm building in addition to hatching more turkeys this year than I did last. Don't know how much it's going to increase yet though.

I can't factor in the dog's food because about two thirds of what he eats is produced here.
