Heyy, my baby chicks r hatching soon and I j want to know what type a food should I feed them. I can’t really buy chicken feed from the store so can you guys recommend some recipes for a home made feed? Thxxx 😁👍😃

That's a tough one. An ideal chick starter feed formulated at home won't be cheap or easy.
Is there no feed store available or what is the issue?
Chickens have 38 unique nutrients they'll need on a daily basis for proper growth, disease resistance and health.
They'll need chick grit (#1 size) since you aren't feeding a feed that has been finely ground.
They'll need 18-22% of the diet to be protein but more importantly, adequate lysine, methionine and cystine. Those will be in animal protein.
They need more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A, about 2,500 IU of vitamin D3 and more than 50 IU vitamin E per pound.
All B vitamins are important but especially Riboflavin. Vitamin K is essential.
They need at least 85ppm of Manganese. About 1% of the diet needs to be calcium, 0.5% phosphorus and about 0.5% sodium. Other micronutrients like selenium and copper are important as well.
The diet should be about 4% fat and 5% fiber is needed.

Here are two recipes someone posted but I can't guarantee it will provide what they need.

I told you it wouldn't be cheap or easy.
