say i went out this afternoon and picked up a few week old chicks...... do i absolutely have to feed them starter, or can they go straigh onto the 15% layer crumbles the rest of the flock is getting.... i only ask because the wife wants more babies were out of starter crumbles and all the feed stores around here only carry it in early early spring, after that its special order only?????
