Start with starter and when do you switch to grower if you want to butcher at 8 weeks

Some never switch. We're using chick starter from start to finish this go round. Says it's fine on the label. Other brands may vary.

I start with a 24% for 1-2 weeks ,depending on how they are growing, then swith to 20% for the last 6-8wks.
