Recently purchased New MTN XL Wooden Chicken Coop Nesting Box Hen House. This coop is beyond awful.
The wood is as thin as toothpicks. Parts were missing. Some screws were predrilled and totally crooked. Some pieces were cracked, other pieces were scraped badly. Pieces don't fit together correctly so there are gaps everywhere. Locks are cheap and flimsy.
Also, this "XL" coop is EXTREMELY small. Extremely small. It might fit two bantams tops.
In addition, the set of directions they include are worthless.
I got it at a good price and thought it was too good to be true which unfortunately it was. What's worse is they will refund my money but the cost to ship it back ($200) is almost as much as the coop cost itself so that's not even an option. So we spent $350 and have nothing to show for it. Except maybe some expensive wood for our firepit
I think now we're just going to build our own coop.
